Ambri, a company that develops grid-scale battery technology that’s reliable and efficient, isn’t publicly traded at this time. It has been funded through seed money and fundraising rounds from major investors. According to PitchBook data, its most recent fundraising was through a Series D round for $17.3 million.

Our aging infrastructure is in dire need of an overhaul and has been for some time. Seven years ago, the 2013 ASCE Report Card for America’s Infrastructure revealed the system was in need of $3.6 trillion in improvements, requiring an additional investment of $200 billion a year between then and now to catch up. The same report graded America’s infrastructure as D+. Unfortunately, we have not yet come close to making this happen — as evidenced in part by the same grade delivered in 2020’s report.

The CEO of the American company, TerraScale Inc. has been appointed Director Emeritus of the non-governmental organization Green Cross, founded by the former Soviet leader and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, Mikhail Gorbachev. Green Cross is a consultative member of the United Nations on Climate Change and the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification. It also cooperates directly with the UNEP / OCHA Environmental Emergencies Section, UN-Habitat and other international organizations.
